After weeks of recording, producing and arranging the songs on the 7AM farm, the new album is finally done. It just needs some mixing and mastering so hopefully it will be released in the beginning of September.
Stay tuned and dont forget to check out our new single ´Everytime´.
Here is the updated version of our tour in April/May. Please write us if you can help with some shows (see the gaps). Our trusty roadie Deso is traveling again with us, preparing some announced and unannounced exhibitions.
Don´t forget to check new demos on the site. Big thanx to Aljaz Lipus-Aljo for spending hours and hours (read days) on the 7AM farm to record and mix these songs.
See you on the road fuckers! Cheers
7AM is going on another euro tour in 2019. Help with booking and contacts needed. If you want us to play near you just write us on hansi.gretzl@gmail.com or FB. Thanx. See you on the road.
A lot of waiting, error trials and flooded printing basement, but we made it. Check the short video about how we spend our afternoons before rehearsals.
250 covers handprinted, folded, glued and packed by 7AM.
Order your copy here or at our german distributer Kapitän Platte.
Special thanx goes to Mare and Lele for big help with screens for printing!
In February released 7AM s/t album is going to be available on Lp on 20th of May. You can preorder it from us or you can wait till May and just order it then. What you can do now is pre-order it at Kapitän Platte, which is our distributor for Germany, but you still have to wait for it till May (Oh, the magic of pre-orders).
We met Pietsch (Kapitän himself) in Bielefeld and he drank enough beers to offer us help with distributing our Lp. He is also the author of the very flattering text below. Thanx Pietsch and cheers.
“The sound of 7am is a mix of punk-rock in the vein of Hüsker Dü, grunge à la Nirvana and (of course because of the vocals) rriot-girl punk that reminds of bands like Bikini Kill or Team Dresch.
But the main influence is the college-rock of the late 80ies. If you listen to songs like “Couch” or “Enough is enough” you might think these are lost tracks of Dinosaur Jr’s masterpiece “”You’re living all over me”! Not kidding. Lot’s of guitar distortions, wah-wah feedback and Lou Barlow would be proud of the bass-sound.”
“The record comes in a silk-screen cover printed by the band itself.”
The euro tour was great! We destroyed hundreds of ears, emptied all beer supplies and came home alive. Thanx to all good people who helped us with concerts and hosted us in their homes.
And now some tips for uprising rockstars we met on tour:
1.There are no ´ópening acts´´ or ´´headliners´´. You play or you go home.
2. If someone prepares food for you- eat it, say thanx and clean your fucking plate.
3. If a band you play with is nice enough to lend you equipment say at least thanx to them.
4. Primadonas please stay home, nobody wants to hear your nagging and complaining.
Stay tuned, some Balkan tour dates to be announced soon.
The new self titled album now available on tape. Big thanx to Simon Kocjancic who did the incredible artwork for it. We also have a new t-shirt design ( graphic by Mico).
